Freddy has worked in the theatre for over fifteen years. He has worked for companies all over Arizona including: Arizona Theatre Company, Childsplay, Rising Youth Theatre and (Sic)Sense Comedy Troupe. He received his bachelors in Theatre from Arizona State university. Freddy has extensive experience in performance and production. He has brought his skills of improvisation and theatre-making to his teaching practice and is a skilled teaching artist working with young people of all ages from all over Arizona.
The Bell(2015)
In collaboration with Rising Youth Theatre, Freddy worked with students at Genesis Academy in Phoenix to build an original performance addressing systemic issues in education.
Drama Teaching
Freddy has worked as a drama teacher and a teaching artist specializing in drama for young people. He proudly led the Drama department at BASIS Phoenix South for several years.
Art Camp
Freddy is the lead teaching artist for summer camp at Phoenix Center for the Arts through Rising Youth Theatre. Every year Freddy guides a new cohort of students towards the creation of an original devised theatre piece.
